Search Engine Optimization is a moving target, dynamic, ever changing for a number of different reasons.

The first reason is called Google. I work within something I call ‘The Rules of Google’ – which is strictly ‘white hat’ SEO – opposed the ‘black hat’ SEO. What is the difference, you might ask ? White hat SEO is working within the parameters of Google’s TOS – as well as ‘The Rules of Google’.

Hey everyone out there in the ether. My name is Kit Latham and I am currently an SEO- Search Engine Marketing guy.

I discovered the power of Wordpress a few years ago, and have been using it to great success for my clients for a couple of years.

As the results of my enthusiasm for Wordpress, I went out there and have created a whole bunch of personal sites as both experiments and a way to focus links to mine and my client sites.

No I have all these crazy sites out there, many which have been abandoned by me because I am just so lazy. As the result the Google page rank have fallen from where it used to be.

I have 2 main sites currently, Kit Latham Search Marketing – and , what do you know, Kit Latham Search marketing, the first one being my photographic site which has been around since 1995, in which I have rebranded as a site specializing in Search Engine Marketing for books, through Hard Press Editions, and the second started out as Berkshire Web Wizards, which in turn I rebranded as Kit Latham Search Marketing.

Now, if you are an SEO-SEM guy reading this, you might think that I am ‘optimizing’ this post for Kit Latham Search Marketing ( lol ) – but I am not. What I am doing here is just sitting at my PC thinking out loud thru my keyboard.

It is high time for me to capitalize on the last couple years of traction in the NSO space and clearly define what it is I do in terms of search engine optimizing and search engine marketing.

So, the next few posts on this site are going to be my web based whiteboard for me to work out the new relevant text for my 2 main sites.
